As our new People Manager & Head of Digital Transformation, you will act as both innovation lead and people leader for the Digital Transformation & Moonshot products. The purpose of this position is to contribute to the overall success of the digital transformation of Novo Nordisk, by driving the Novo Nordisk digital strategy development, and products developed to support organisational change (e.g. GoDigital).
As a people leader within our team, you will facilitate attraction, development, and retention of employees in the team as well as ensure a healthy, engaging, and inclusive work environment where you will act as a coach and mentor for the team.
You will likewise be able to use your ability to communicate efficiently with the management group and will need to communicate with essential political awareness, demonstrating strong stakeholder management competencies.
The primary focus is on establishing the Moonshot process to ensure a match with organisational needs and the ability to drive new digital products, potential spin-out businesses, and strategic partnerships. The Moonshot team drives the development of services to be offered to the business that leverages emerging technology, facilitating specific ideation and product development processes both internally and externally, convincingly, and clearly communicating to stakeholders across the business, and acting as a trusted advisor with a strong understanding of business challenges and constraints. Which competencies to bring?
To be successful in the role, we imagine that you have 5+ years of experience in a broad strategy track, being specification, design, development, management, and implementation of digital solutions. In combination with that, we see that you will bring
• Good experience with Project Management. Preferably, 1 year of experience in Agile methodologies and +3 years of leadership experience
• Proven track record of working on, or driving, disruptive projects from idea to launch, taking ownership and driving results with the ability to perform in high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge and passion for digital trends, technology stacks, and development tools.
• A passion for people leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in developing relationships and working with multiple stakeholders on high-profile cross-functional and multinational initiatives.
• Outstanding (English) business communication skills, both written and oral, with internal and external parties as well as strong organisational understanding.
