The Position This role will be responsible for ensuring that our Talent Acquisition processes align with applicable policies, regulations, best practices and overall TA Strategy. The TA Policies, Compliance & Risk Manager will oversee compliance efforts, conduct risk assessments, develop, implement and keep policies updated, and safeguard privacy throughout the Talent Acquisition lifecycle. The position can be located in different locations where Novo Nordisk has affiliates. Your main responsibility will include:
  • Developing, implementing, and continually updating talent acquisition policies and procedures in accordance with established processes, relevant laws, regulations, and company standards
  • Contribution to Global TA Projects by leading and conducting risk assessments, expecting these outcomes to form a robust foundation for supporting a more effective decision-making process and serving as the basis for change management action plans.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders, including TA teams, People Compliance, Legal, Procurement, HR, and IT departments, to ensure alignment with overall company policies and standards.
  • Leading global contract negotiations in collaboration with Procurement and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring the establishment of appropriate KPIs to measure vendor performance and support our TA organization effectively.
  • Conducting regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance, evaluate effectiveness, pinpoint areas for improvement, and develop action plans to mitigate associated risks. This may include designing training programs to educate TA teams and hiring managers on compliance requirements and privacy practices.
  • In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from various geographies, supporting on Policies, Risk & Compliance related tasks and cross-functional or line of business projects making sure that TA strategy is applicable globally. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to talent acquisition teams on sensitive issues, such as background checks, pre-employment assessments, and candidate screening, to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and are eager to develop our processes by also leading and persuading stakeholders to be open to new strategies; your robustness will play a key role for the hiring managers to recognise the TA function as a true partner to achieve business success. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Laws, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in HR, compliance, or privacy (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CCEP, CIPP) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to talent acquisition and familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR, and their implications for talent acquisition.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies and ability to interpret and leverage data to drive performance improvements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver compliance training programs.
  • Proficient in using HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and proficiency in utilizing recruitment systems, tools and reporting platforms.
  • Vendor and contract management experience within a large, international and culturally diverse environment will be highly valued.
  • As a person, you have a sharp strategic mind, an eye for the big picture but attention to detail. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences as well as excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. You feel comfortable engaging with stakeholders with the ability to build and maintain partnerships. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is required. About the Department You will become part of the newly established Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution unit and report directly to the Director, Global TA Strategy & Execution.
