Are you an experienced Project Manager within planning and execution of infrastructure and building projects? Apply now for a life-changing career! The position As our new Project Manager, we expect you to deliver high-quality project management for projects of varying size, budget, and complexity. Our project pipeline that includes projects within infrastructure, building and technique, is rapidly growing. All project design and execution are executed in close collaboration with the operating departments, local service centers and other relevant departments in Novo Nordisk. Stakeholder management is a significant part of the job, as we work with facilities and surroundings that affect many colleagues and processes. You have the full responsibility for the projects, and are expected to run the entire process from A-Z, which includes:
  • Mature projects from idea to final design to execution and handover.
  • Management of external consultants within infrastructure, construction and technical disciplines.
  • Execution of projects within agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Commissioning of the projects, as well as successful handover to operations.
  • Being the go-to person in terms of smoothly moving from project to operation and ensuring that the implemented solutions can be operated.
  • With these skills, we expect you to be an integral part of the execution team, ensuring that we implement tangible and significant steps towards a sustainable site infrastructure. Qualifications Preferably you hold a master’s degree in engineering or similar education with 3+ years of project management experience and can demonstrate solid know-how in driving infrastructure projects. You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, that you can utilise when taking projects through execution and handover. You might have a broad knowledge of the engineering landscape within facility management and are well-informed about the newest trends within your field. To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Educational background as M.Sc. in Engineering, constructing architect or other relevant technical education and have 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Ability to handle most situations independently and with routine, receives minimal guidance, but will seek advice and guidance on more complex issues.
  • Ability to set directions and deliver results in own role which have a significant impact within the context of a wider operational area.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English and Danish.
  • On a personal level, you are very trustworthy, a team player and have flair for stakeholder management as you will be in daily contact with line of business, vendors, etc. You have excellent planning skills and are used to work in a structured manner with an agile and proactive mind-set. You are able to handle a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation. About the department In Corporate Facilities, with 300 employees, we enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for infrastructure, workplaces, utilities, and facility services as well as a major building portfolio. The job involves traveling between our Danish sites. Your primary base will be in Odense, but you are expected to be in Bagsværd 1-2 times a week, where the rest of the department is located.
