As our new Senior Project Manager, we expect you to deliver high-quality project man-agement for projects of varying size, budget, and complexity. Our project pipeline that includes projects within infrastructure, building and technique, is rapidly growing. All project design and execution are executed in close collaboration with the operating departments, local service centers and other relevant departments in Novo Nordisk. Stakeholder management is a significant part of the job, as we work with facilities and surroundings that affect many colleagues and processes. You have the full responsibility for the projects, and are expected to run the entire pro-cess from A-Z, which includes: Mature projects from idea to final design to execution and handover. Management of external consultants within infrastructure, construction and tech-nical disciplines. Execution of projects within agreed scope, budget, and timeline. Commissioning of the projects, as well as successful handover to operations. Being the go-to person in terms of smoothly moving from project to operation and ensuring that the implemented solutions can be operated.
With these skills, we expect you to be an integral part of the execution team, ensuring that we implement tangible and significant steps towards a sustainable site infrastruc-ture. Qualifications
Preferably you hold a master’s degree in engineering, constructing architect, or similar education, with 8+ years of project management experience and can demonstrate solid know-how in driving infrastructure projects.
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have: Ability to handle most situations independently and with routine, receives minimal guidance, but will seek advice and guidance on more complex issues. Ability to set directions and deliver results in own role which have a significant im-pact within the context of a wider operational area. Fluency in spoken and written English and Danish. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to utilise when taking projects through execution and handover. Broad knowledge of the engineering landscape within facility management and the newest trends within this field. On a personal level, you are very trustworthy, a team player and have flair for stake-holder management as you will be in daily contact with line of business, vendors, etc. we expect you to have excellent planning skills, ability to work in a structured manner with an agile and proactive mind-set, and be capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation. In Corporate Facilities, with 300 employees, we enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for infrastructure, workplaces, utilities, and facility services as well as a major building portfolio. We create tangible business results by partnering with all areas of the business and what we do impacts all Novo Nordisk’s employees in their workday. We give high level of responsibility from day one and you will experience a continuously steep learning curve, where your own aspirations set the boundaries. The job involves traveling between our Danish sites. Your primary base will be in Odense, but you are expected to be in Bagsværd 1-2 times a week, where the rest of the de-partment is located. The 15 employees in the department, manage a large portfolio of maintenance, replacement and expansion projects with various complexity and size, across all Danish sites. The environment is relaxed and welcoming.
