Be our next (Senior) Compliance manager in Global Medical Affairs; apply now! The position The position will be anchored in IME & Medical Association Partnerships team, in which all grants, donations and sponsorships in GMA are being handled. As a (Senior) Compliance manager, you will be supporting Global Medical Affairs (GMA) with business ethics compliance training, being a sparring partner on compliance topics and questions, and strengthening business ethics compliance processes. You will also support the IME & Medical Association Partnerships team with your expertise to ensure our grants, donations and sponsorships continue to be in compliance, and we are at any time working according to the latest rules and requirements. Some of the tasks you will be responsible for are the following:
  • Leading the review of grant, donation and sponsorship applications from a compliance perspective, in line with the latest external requirements

  • Optimise and strengthen processes around ethics and compliance in GMA, including clear process descriptions and roles and responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous information sharing and regular trainings across GMA compliance regulations and processes

  • Participate in R&D Compliance Centre of Expertise business ethics forum meetings

  • Conduct risk reporting for GMA

  • Prepare and drive audits together with the Business Ethics & Compliance Coordinator in the area

  • Maintain dialogue with system owners of relevant systems to ensure a compliant execution and follow-up of contracts

    • You will work closely with the R&D Compliance Center of Expertise to align on the Novo Nordisk business ethics principles and processes. You will have the unique possibility to shape this newly established role and define exact roles and responsibilities together with the Director of the team. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • Solid experience (4+ years) from a similar position working with HCP compliance and grants, donations and sponsorships

  • Expertise in existing regulations and codes governing the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. EFPIA, IFPMA, local codes)

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is an advantage

  • Fluency in oral and written English is a must

About the department In Global Medical Affairs we aim to improve patients’ lives. We do this by leading the scientific exchange between patients, HCPs, payers and industry at large. We build the bridge between stakeholders and deliver insights across the value chain, bringing the patient and medical voice into Novo Nordisk. In the IME & Medical Association Partnerships we are 8 individuals working across the entire portfolio, responsible for collaborating with Independent Medical Education providers to support educational programmes for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), as well as to support projects driven by medical associations through grants, donations and sponsorships.
