The position
We are looking for a Business Support Manager to join our team in Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) for Supply Chain. In this role, you will facilitate portfolio management processes across our area, drive the resolution of impediments and risks, and lead performance reporting. You will also support the implementation of strategic projects for the VP and leadership team. As a Business Support Manager, you will have deep understanding of the DD&IT portfolio and be responsible for maintaining a portfolio canvas and roadmap, aligned with relevant business and IT strategies.
Key responsibilities Facilitate prioritization of new portfolio epic requests and allocate funding, ensuring a dynamic resource overview, leveraging expertise in portfolio management critical for team success Support transformation initiatives to streamline organizational processes, aiding agile transformation, while leading strategic projects across product areas Direct a team comprising a coordinator and student assistants, overseeing key administrative processes effectively Manage external consultants, establish standards for training and compliance, and maintain operational KPI tracking, ensuring cross-functional alignment Ensure clear communication on behalf of the functional area, while executing projects in collaboration with the leadership team If you are a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for driving change and delivering results, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a candidate who has the following qualifications M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant field e.g. Computer Science Experience with translating strategies into strategic themes and relevant metrics, e.g. OKRs Ability to understand and define priorities consistent with strategic goals and economic viability Experience in analysing demand and capacity to support budgeting and resource allocation decisions Experience with lean portfolio management and scaled agile delivery About the department
As part of DD&IT, our area is the strategic function that is responsible for driving DD&IT initiatives across our production sites in as well as our supply chain operations worldwide. In strong collaboration with our business partners, we transformed our delivery model to Agile by launching two of the first Agile Release Trains (ART) in Novo Nordisk, in the beginning of 2020. In our area, we are ambitious in maturing the Supply Chain target architecture, to ensure that our SAP ERP Core and Supply Chain Systems develop in accordance with the future technology needs.
