About the department
You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions clearly has global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
The position
As BIM & CAD Professional in AP Expansions, Tech & Innovation, you will be anchored in the Global Engineering and Facility department located in Gentofte Project Office, where your role will be key to support new production sites in USA, China, France and the centralized and local teams in any means necessary. You will be analysing and coordinating work on the barriers blocking the way and presenting solutions for approval. In cooperation with our global engineering partner, you will secure deliverables according to local aseptic standards and authority requirements within design and implementation of equipment, also ensuring all users and suppliers act and execute in our common company model.
Areas of responsibility will include:
• Plan and execute our 3D BIM design from the verry beginning
• Define and set up the ACC together with the BIM/CAD Administrator
• Structure meta data and mitigate smooth transition from early design to final built
• Drive elements of the quality, digitalisation, and connectivity journey together with key stakeholders
• Secure compliance of BIM & CAD standards for design and components across organization
You will also take part in developing our digital twin
and support our global engineering and BIM/CAD management in development tasks Moreover, you will develop templates in collaboration with the BIM administrator, IT and corporate functions to support investment projects, and collaborate with other functions to secure adequate implementation. The scope ranges from developing principals that will guide the technology tracks to hardware connectivity. The work requires an open mind with an attention to details and a close collaboration with process SMEs, technology teams, IT/OT and QA across the program. In addition, position involves a high degree of stakeholder management within the organization and with external partners. You will have to be part of setting the engineering standard and documentation for many years ahead. Qualifications
We are looking for someone with strong systematic skills with focus on driving a standard according to agreement. You are also structured and able to oversee large amount of data in a coherent way. To be successful in this position, you: • Have an educational background as Technical Designer, Engineer or similar
• Have minimum 5 years’ experience within the area of design, maintenance, and validation of designs
• Have knowledge of the AEC package including AutoDesk Construction Clous, AutoCAD, Revit and NavisWorks as both user and administrator
• Have experience with 3D designs/BIM, preferably in a GMP controlled environment
• Are proficient in English As the project is global, travelling to our partners and stakeholders aboard should be expected– for this reason command of Danish, French or Chinese is an advantage. As a person, you set high standards for your work, and are data driven. You are a team player who works well managing complex dependencies between different areas in a structured way. You also need to have a curious mind and can challenge the status quo in a positive way. Finally, you have great communication skills that enable you to build relations with stakeholders and communicate complex content in a simple way.
