The position As Simulation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced simulation models to optimize our manufacturing, warehouse and intralogistics processes . Y ou will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational excellence. Some of your key responsibilities include: Defining the scope and purpose of discrete simulation projects within the manufacturing domain, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data required for simulation exercises Identifying and selecting the most suitable simulation platforms for each project, considering compatibility, scalability, and ease of use Developing and verifying simulation models using statistical methods and tools Conducting experiments, analyzing results, and generating comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations Introducing and implementing new simulation techniques, methods, and software while utilizing CAD software to design and optimize physical system layouts Qualifications To be considered for this position, we imagine you have: At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or any other related field Minimum 2 years of experience with simulation engineering, ideally with Discrete Event Simulation (DES), preferably linked with warehouse design, logistics, or manufacturing Knowledge of simulation software and tools such as Emulate3D, Visual Components, 3DExperience or any other similar Familiarity with statistical methods and tools (R, Python, Excel, for example) Fluency in English, both written and spoken As a person, you possess excellent collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills. You are analytical and enjoy been part of an international team. Last but not least, you thrive in exploring new technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
