Maersk is looking for a Platform Product Owner who will work closely with internal business product colleagues and engineering colleagues as well as our end customers to manage the demand and prioritize customer implementations. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively with a wide set of stakeholders in the Maersk organization, enthusiastic to be part of a diverse team, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into high quality, simple products that customers love.

Key Responsibilities
The Offer-to-Agreement (OtA) platform digitally enables the offering of our products and services, as well as capturing what has been agreed with the customer. As a Platform Product Owner, you will:
- Define the long-term strategy and translate it to a data-driven operational plan
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to design and develop future solution
- Set direction for the development team
- Work agile using SCRUM methodology
Key responsibilities for the team include:
- Overseeing the ideation, design and development of a set of automated and high speed digital commercial inventory management solutions
- Continuously align with platform PPO’s and Engineering leads to anticipate and manage dependencies and ensure high velocity
- Liaise with Maersk business product stakeholders and engineering teams to define delivery solutions that are in line with business priorities and roadmaps.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business requirements, technical limitations, performance and operations.
- Lead with a data-driven and customer-centric approach in all exploration and development work
Who we are looking for
- Strategic thinker with track record of solving problems.
- Proven excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to speak with both business and tech.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
- Customer centricity and ability to understand complex problems / customer scopes and link it to draft solutions and set of requirements.
- Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues.
- Have a strong focus on standardization and delivery.
- Well organized and independent to communicate prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Interested in international trade, digitalization and Inventory/Revenue Management.
- Able and willing to travel based on business requirements, 2-3 weeks per year.
- Fluent in English both written and oral.
- Experience in (technical) product design/development, working with engineers, or the wider logistics sector is a plus
