About the department
OFP MDev Project Office consists of approx. 16 dedicated Project Managers as well as specialist supporting both Manufacturing Development and our productions sites in Maaloev (Denmark) and Durham (USA). In MDev we have opportunities to perform packaging development on our pilot lines that forms the basis for the establishment of the packaging process for our commercial lines.
The position
As a Pack Specialist, you will be involved in tasks and projects across both our production and development departments. In MDev the focus is mainly on primary pack, but as a specialist you will be involved in projects and tasks across our tablet area.
Your work will help shape perfect conditions in MDev packaging as a basis for establishment of a robust packaging process for our commercial packaging lines.
Among your key responsibilities, you will:
• Input on parameters related to packaging in new product development projects
• Input to development of new format parts for new products for our commercial packaging lines in collaboration with Device Manufacturing Development
• Establish requirements for the packaging process for new products
• Process group attendance together with other packaging sites in the tablet area in Novo Nordisk
• Provide expert input in connection with problem solving for instance with handling of fragile product
Furthermore, you will collaborate with several stakeholder, e.g. local production, commercial production sites, device development, strategic sourcing and project groups, and support production in deviation handling.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone that has at last 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry, working with Finished Production processes in assembly and packaging lines, covering tasks such as qualification, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of equipment and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a Master’s degree in engineering, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or similar
• Are familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
• Have a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements
• Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
