The team waiting for you Digital Health Solutions - based in Søborg, Denmark - works in close collaboration with the Digital Health business unit as well as external partners to bring innovative digital solutions to patients globally, living with diabetes and other chronic diseases. Digital Health Solutions is responsible for developing Apps that are directly used by patients as well as the backend services and systems that support them. The Apps are used for medical purposes and will likely be integrated with connected medical devices such as connected injection pens and other connected devices. What you will be doing As Senior Project Manager you will secure project governance, efficient resource management and handle supplier contracts etc. You will be responsible for driving complex projects from idea to go-live including transition to DevOps . You will join 50+ colleagues with various backgrounds such as Project Managers, Compliance & Quality experts, Digital Solution Architects, System Managers, DevOps Engineers, Cyber Security engineers. Together, you will build strong project teams (10-20 team members), translating initiatives into successful projects delivering tangible benefits to the people with chronic diseases. Additionally, you can also expect: Working in projects such as app development within several drug therapy areas; partner integrations; data pipelines and software development Participating in internal optimisation projects in Digital Health Solutions including implementing and optimising our Agile way of working Taking part in the development of the department, as well as mentoring junior colleagues Proactively identifying better practices and bringing improvements to the area Being exposed to many different business areas throughout Novo Nordisk both in Denmark and globally The position is based in Søborg, and there will be around 25-35 days of travel per year. Since you will collaborate with colleagues across the globe, some meetings may take place outside DK working hours. Which competencies to bring To succeed in this role, we imagine the ideal candidate ticks most of the following: Master's degree within relevant field 5-7 years’ experience in IT project management, preferably within pharma or another regulated industry Familiarity with cloud offerings, software development, mobile technologies, and apps Proven experience delivering successful projects, working with internal teams as well as external development partners Strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility and drive success Ability to work independently as well as part of a team On a personal level, you have worked with an innovation agenda and have a ‘can do’ mind-set, which is required to explore new ideas and solutions. You are known for your ability to set ambitious goals, your structured approach and to spot business opportunities in the most unusual places. You can convince others to believe in new concepts, practices and approaches. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills enables you to win over stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, in different geographies and from diverse cultures.
