About the department The GMA Executive Office is anchored in the Development organisation and is located in Søborg (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark, the GMA Executive Office supports the senior leadership team in GMA. In GMA we are working to improve patient lives - we do this through building bridges between our stakeholders and delivering insights about ’s research activities to our external stakeholders and by providing external medical input to colleagues across the organisation. You will become part of a team of 9 dedicated individuals with multiple profiles, ranging from communication, project management, data analysis, or strategy leads. The main aim is to ensure a close link between the strategic processes, from finance, performance management, and communication on behalf of and in close collaboration with the leadership team. The position In this role, you will work closely with other members of the GMA Executive Office team, as well as with colleagues across the organization, to drive the strategic processes and initiatives of the GMA area. Collaboration and effective communication will be key to your success in this position. As a Senior Strategy Partner in the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Executive Office, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and implementing our strategic and corporate processes. Your key responsibilities will include: Driving the area’s strategic processes (Target setting process, functional strategy process, and project prioritisation) Keeping oversight and tracking the progression of strategic projects Project managing selected projects and initiatives Facilitating management discussions Planning and preparing for implementation Delivering output in the right quality at the right time From time to time, the role will require quantitative or qualitative analysis, which should be something you excel at. It will be key to ensure the strategic processes are aligned with the overarching strategies in while making them tangible and translated into content for management discussion and decision-making. The position provides a high level of visibility, accountability, and hands-on interaction with the senior leadership team. However, it is essential that you can navigate a broad range of stakeholders – from senior leaders to individual contributors and specialists across professional disciplines in the area and across Development and . Qualifications As a person, you have a high level of drive, initiative, and persistence and you are results-oriented. You are ambitious and like to be challenged, and we expect you to be analytical and comfortable setting direction. Your strong interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across different roles, teams, and cultures, and help you drive projects to success. A successful candidate needs to bring the following: Master’s degree with excellent results, coupled with +5 years of experience working with strategy in an international organisation or as a strategy consultant Track record of handling complex projects and doing process optimisation Solid experience using and applying classic project management tools, both to set the strategic direction and for execution Strong problem-solving skills and are curious and passionate about improvements and continually identifying opportunities for the development of the organisation Flair for integrating communication and change management perspectives into any project execution Communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing Contact For further information, please contact Julie Ebdrup Thomsen at Deadline 07 April 2024.
