The position
As a category manager for license management to Digital Research and Intelligence, you will assume the role of category manager for all digital products, encompassing software licenses, rights to use data sources and everything in between for the organization Digital and Research Intelligence. Your key responsibilities are to:
  • Organise and manage all relevant contracts.
  • Create and execute a plan for managing supplier relations for the category, and category strategy for the area.
  • Plan and execute renewal process together with Digital Research and Intelligence.
  • Spend projections, budget management.
  • Securing user commitments prior to sourcing execution.

  • Furthermore, you will ensure and safeguard that all sourcing and supplier related activities are conducted in full compliance with our standards and regulations, while balancing the business and project objectives regarding triple bottom line, risk assessment and deliveries in a complex setting. We expect you to participate in the continuous improvement of our department’s activities, tools, systems, and processes in collaboration with other team members.     Qualifications
    You have experience working in an IT company, IT department or IT consultancy office where you have gained strong insights and knowledge about IT software and use rights. Alternatively, you have experience working with procurement and possess strong contract and supplier management toolbox and are confident in driving negotiations independently. Furthermore, to be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • Relevant Master’s Degree complemented with 2-4 years of relevant work experience, or alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent complemented with +4 years of relevant experience working with, e.g., contract and supplier management, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or business development.
  • Experience in reading contracts, communicate the content and the ability to work closely with Legal and layers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills, at all levels of the organisation.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English, both written and orally.
  • We expect you to be able to use data to drive evidence-based decision-making, complete high-quality analysis, and make strong recommendations, and be curious and understand the value chain in a large organisation. About the department
    Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. We consist of 150 employees based in Denmark and India (globally 500 people) who are responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy.     You will work closely with colleagues in Sourcing, Digital Research and Intelligence and Legal, both in our headquarter in Bagsværd and Research site in Måløv.
