You are anchored in Product Supply Injectable Finished Products (IFP), which is a global organisation of 8,000 employees that supplies products for all therapeutic areas in Novo Nordisk.IFP Manufacturing Development (ManDev) is an organisation of 600 employees that supports our extensive growth across all IFP’s manufacturing sites with disruptive solutions, operational excellence and efficient LCM of all IFP products. You will head up IFP ManDev QC, a leadership team of 12 and an organisation of 200 employees, primarily based in Denmark.About the position
With a direct report to the Corporate VP of IFP ManDev, you engage an organisation towards your common goals that are to support and develop all IFP sites to be able to release products timely. To mature and implement chemical and microbiological methods to new products and to demonstrate world class level of compliance during inspections and audits.You are very visible on senior level across Novo Nordisk, Product Supply and IFP, since you are also responsible for the strategy for the global IFP QC group and an influential member of the IFP ManDev management team, the Novo Nordisk Laboratory steering group and the Product Supply Laboratory steering group. In addition, you make sure that you are positioned as a key stakeholder for the IFP Future Lab, a brown field project in Denmark that is to build a QC Laboratory of 650 employees.Further details on IFP ManDev QC’s responsibility are performing all QC analysis in IFP DK, including release test from production units, handling of customer complaints, stability samples and validation activities. Setting direction and implement/scale digital and automated solutions across all QC units in IFP. System ownership of the global IT systems LIMS/PEMS incl. setting a clear direction for the future requirementsMost of your time will be spend in Denmark (Hillerød and Bagsværd), however you should expect 10-15 travel days a year to visit other IFP sites.
Qualifications
Since the position is on senior level in a complex large scale matrix organisation, you are already an experienced senior leader, e.g., leading organisations through others. You do not necessarily have experience from QC and from the pharmaceutical industry, but you have experience from a complex matrix organisation within a highly regulated industry within production, e.g., pharma, food, laboratories.You are used to manage senior stakeholders across manufacturing functions, including introduction of new products, and you have successfully led larger changes or transformations, including management of senior stakeholders.You are recognized for and enjoy both operational and strategic leadership from production, e.g., leading through leaders, production planning, technology development, production methods, automation, QC, QA.You are a holistic and true business leader, and you always do things in the perspective of the company’s over-all strategy. You respect your colleagues and create a psychological safe environment that foster an open dialogue. You have a diplomatic and assertive behaviour and do not give up when times are a bit challenging. You are an innovative leader and like sharing ideas with your team and the business, and you have many examples where you successfully have made ideas come alive.You hold an academic degree within natural science, and you are fluent in both English and Danish.Contact
