You will be part of the Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT) Business Integration team and assist in maturing overall M&A transactions capability, in particular due diligence, and act as a project manager and sparring partner to the wider organisation.As a Business Development Partner in Business Integration, your primary role will be to support the line of business by proactively coordinating due diligence activities performed by subject matter experts. The tasks include:
  • Acting as project manager in PSQIT Due Diligence projects and support Corporate Due Diligence projects, as well as own PSQIT BI projects
  • Conducting and supporting a variety of analysis, and business cases. This includes building models and developing recommendations and material for decision making in close collaboration with different lines of business within PSQIT
  • Keeping relevant stakeholders (within PSQIT and the wider Novo Nordisk organisation) involved and informed and you will present findings and recommendations to management for endorsement
  • The job offers frequent senior management interaction and engagements across the organisation, allowing you to build a strong network while driving activities related to strategy development, improvement projects and other activities to support PSQIT business strategy and priorities.Key stakeholders for this role is Corporate Development, functional diligence teams, Quality Due Diligence & Integration, IT Due Diligence & Integrations, various areas within Product Supply.Qualifications
    We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences:
  • A minimum a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in business development, consultancy/project management, M&A, due diligence, strategy position or similar. Prior participation in due diligence processes is highly valued
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Structured mindset and can coordinate teams of 5-10 people
  • Strategic thinking with a strong business understanding, who can conduct and translate complex analysis into clear messaging
  • Experience with presentation and BI tools such as PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel
  • Experience and understanding of the pharma industry is a plus.
  • We expect you to be a strong team player, who enjoys delivering on short deadlines high quality deliverables for senior management in PSQIT, Executive Management and other key stakeholders.As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent both in written and spoken. As this is a global role. Due to our global presence, you should be ready to occasionally travel to our global sites.About the department
    The newly established PSQIT Business Integration will be responsible for efficient scouting and due diligence processes of potential acquisitions within manufacturing capacities, participate in due diligence on assets coming from Corporate Development as well as own identified targets, manage the integration into PSQIT and finally mature PSQIT’s overall M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) readiness. The department reports to Novo Nordisk’s SVP of Supply Chain & Finance within PSQIT.Working at Novo Nordisk
