The positionAs the Senior Logistics&Distribution Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and implementing decision-making processes across our global logistical network within the framework of our Global Supply Chain. Your responsibilities will encompass optimizing distribution and warehouse networks and fostering robust collaboration across the entire Global Supply Chain. You will be an integral part of a dynamic management team, consisting of six seasoned leaders. Your support will span a wide spectrum of business-related matters, encompassing operational, tactical, and strategic tasks, as well as providing essential day-to-day guidance, analyses, and communication-related activities.Furthermore, in your role as a knowledge expert, you will lead efforts to identify opportunities for improvements in Logistics & Distribution and seamlessly integrate them into our organization.This role holds immense significance, and your influence will be deeply ingrained in defining and leading strategic processes and initiatives that will elevate our Logistics & Distribution function.You will independently drive several initiatives simultaneously and work closely with stakeholders across the organization, which requires that you have a good overview and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications
  • Hold at least a relevant bachelor’s degree and a professional experience within Logistics&Distribution and Supply Chain for minimum of 5 years
  • Experience in driving strategic projects and advising senior leadership
  • Expertise in developing business cases, facilitating workshops, leading stakeholder meetings, and executing continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a holistic problem-solving approach
  • Display good stakeholder management skills across functions and seniority levels, coupled with self-motivation and a positive mindset.
  • On a personal level, you are curious, ambitious and have a critical sense. Building trusting relationships across organizational levels is natural for you and you can influence the organization around you. You are fluent in spoken and written English.We anticipate that you will have a profound interest in Supply Chain and logistical processes, consistently identifying opportunities for process enhancements.About the department
    Logistics&Distribution (L&D) is a central function in the Supply Chain organization in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional Supply Chain systems and processes. We are app. 50 employees in Bagsvaerd (DK) and 15 in Bangalore (India) .

    The department is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the fiscal impact. Furthermore, we have responsibility for in- and outbound warehouses in the Product Supply network.

    While taking the responsibility for global distribution, L&D is responsible for overseeing and complying with all regulatory and quality requirements related to distribution of pharmaceuticals, managing the distribution cost and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
