The position
We are looking for a student who is motivated by and enjoys analysing data, problem conceptualization, and developing tools to improve data visualization.
Your responsibilities are included but are not limited to: Developing or improving the new/current software tools to automate manual business operations Performing data analysis to locate, understand, utilize, and visualize business process data Learning and using tools such as Alterix, Tableau, PowerBI, PowerApps, etc. Since the nature of the job is student-based, you will also have the opportunity to develop and learn how to apply your knowledge from your academic degree to real-world applications. Furthermore, you will gain experience in working in a global company, and manufacturing environment, and how data can be utilized with the current trend of Industry 4.0. Therefore, you will be part of an organization that values creativity, innovation, and the ability to work with people from different backgrounds. Qualifications
You are a student who is enroled in a BSc or MSc program in the field of IT, Software Engineering, or Business Analytics within a Danish university. Ideally, you have at least 2 semesters left until graduation.
To succeed in this role, you have: Understanding of common programming languages, e.g., VBA, SQL, Python etc Understanding of basic data analytics and its visualization If you don’t know a specific language, we provide you the opportunity to learn and develop together. About the department
You will be a part of the Novo Nordisk Insulin production, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (PS API) and assigned to Insulin Manufacturing 1 (IM1), the world’s largest Insulin Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing facility located in Kalundborg with fermentation, recovery, purification and utilities production under the same roof.
You will be employed in IM1 Bioprocess Improvement-Optimization (IM1BIO), a group of 8 highly skilled colleagues plus MSc students all working with advanced mathematical modelling for improvement and optimization of biochemical and business processes.
