We are expanding into new therapy areas, increasing diversity in our clinical trials and ensuring a ‘patient focussed’ drug development. Together with many more trials than ever before, our colleagues are also updating their ways of working to improve effectiveness, using technology to focus on what’s important as well as expanding their relationships and knowledge in the new therapy areas. We need you to help harmonize the change impacting our stakeholders, support our project drivers in maximising the impact of their initiative, help Novo Nordisk realize the benefits and support our colleagues in sustaining the change. The position The Change Partner is a key resource allocated to strategic initiatives and will take ownership in driving change. This role is expected to work with situational flexibility, agility, fit-for-purpose application of change tools and with a proactive mindset. The change partner will:
  • Develop and execute organizational change management (OCM) strategy and plan (independently or together with a senior change partner depending on the scope)
  • Contribute to the development of the overall Clinical Drug Development (CDD) OCM strategy and toolbox
  • Drive cross functional activities related to maintenance and development of new tools, templates, techniques and change approaches
  • The job is based in Denmark, but the scope of work is global. The job may require travelling abroad for meetings and stakeholder engagement. As a specialist, the change partner is often included in cross-functional projects and is expected to build up knowledge about different cultures, practices and procedures in the countries or regions as they progress through their careers. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behaviour, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • A couple of years of experience would be preferred where you have been part of a change project/programs and worked with change, communications, training, UX, behaviour design etc.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in verbal and written English
  • Experience working with agile methodology and of the pharma industry would be a plus but is not a requirement
  • A certification in change management would be a plus but is not a requirement
  • As a person you have basic knowledge and ability to navigate in a global corporate environment, comfort with digital productivity tools like MS Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel etc. and a professional outlook. You have a proactive mind-set and ability to work independently in a continuously developing environment. You can keep your spirits high even when under pressure, and you can collaborate at any organisational level. You must demonstrate curiosity to learn and experiment, be able to collaborate with stakeholders across various levels and functions in Novo Nordisk. About the department The Change Management Office in Novo Nordisk is anchored in the Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise in Clinical Drug Development (CDD). We work closely with all other skill areas in Clinical Drug Development, e.g., Trial Management, Data Management, Clinical Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Clinical Reporting, Medical & Science as well as with our Clinical Drug Development Global Business Services in India, and our global Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) organisation in more than 50 countries. Our key objective is to drive organizational change supporting strategic programs/initiatives which range from compliance, digitalization, process improvement, integrations, organizational changes etc. The work has the ability to impact every single patient enrolled in our clinical trials around the world, improve how physicians’ interface with Novo Nordisk and drive change for thousands of our Novo Nordisk colleagues who make the trials happen. The team consists of four change management professionals and we’re growing. It’s a fun and exciting work environment where no two days are the same. We have highly skilled and experienced colleagues all around which are open to change management support and always willing to share their expert knowledge. We use ADKAR and other professional change management methodologies, combined with an ‘outcome’ based approach to curate each project and support it accordingly. The Change Management Office is very outreaching and strives continuously for alignment and synergies across other change functions including the new digital transformation offices.
