As Senior Pilot Scientist, you will take up important tasks in driving the daily operation of production for phase I and II clinical trials, ensuring that they are in control. You will help to develop the department strategy and optimise wherever possible.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
• keep the processes in control
• suggest and influence improvements to the processes
• ensure continued support for new products to be produced in the department
By doing so you will secure the safety of patients and the quality of the products and play a crucial part in bringing quality to the patients.
You will work closely with our highly skilled pilot technicians both within our production team and competent colleagues in the development teams, helping to ensure that our production facility is ready and fit to take on new challenges. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
- hold an academic degree in science related subjects (Cand. Pharm, Chemical Engineer, Chemistry, Biomedicine or equivalent)
- have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical environment, preferably in a QA or production setting
- are proficient in English and are open to learn Danish Newly graduated candidates who are passionate about working within the field and eager to learn are encouraged to apply as well, as we are also recruiting for junior roles.
On a personal level, you enjoy working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment and are ready to learn and enjoy taking in new information and adding more skills to your toolbox. You effortlessly communicate and collaborate with many stakeholders while also keeping an overview of the goals ahead. About the Department
Oral Product Development (OPDev) is part of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control
(CMC) development where we develop, document and supply tsolid dosage forms for clinical trials. OPDev is a relatively new organization that made history when we succeeded with the formulation of proteins in an oral platform – making the first GLP-1 tablet on the marked.
In our department, Oral Pilot Plant, we are 30+ colleagues, organised in two teams. We are responsible for the manufacturing of oral products for phase 1 & 2 clinical trials. The department covers a broad range of process technologies for solid dosage forms, helping to bring the future to the patients. Working at Novo Nordisk
