The Position As a key member of our team, you will join a passionate group of diverse and motivated global colleagues with clinical, research and pharmaceutical experience. Together we are driven by our commitment to clinical drug development, scientific dialogue, medical education, and effective communication with medical leaders. Drawing on your extensive experience, you will take on a pivotal role, working autonomously to drive strategic discussions and decision-making processes for our semaglutide portfolio in T2D. You will have the opportunity to represent the Director in high-level global committees such as the Global Project Team (GPT), Core Brand Team (CBT), Core Medical Team (CMT), and Publication Planning Group (PPG), among others. Your responsibilities will include: Leading strategic projects within the product specific GPTs. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders from various cross-functional teams. Proactive approach in identifying synergies across medical activities and strategies within our team. Working cross-functionally to generate, interpret, and effectively communicate scientific data emerging from ongoing pivotal trials involving the semaglutide portfolio in the T2D space. Successfully collaborate and communicate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal stakeholders, including regional teams, affiliates, marketing, patient access, development, and regulatory affairs. International travel of approximately 20% per year should be expected. Qualifications You hold a medical background (MD/PhD) with minimum 5 years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical Affairs. Your exceptional stakeholder management skills enable you to lead and drive cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Your proactive nature allows you to anticipate opportunities and challenges, taking initiative to address them effectively. Your strong communication and presentation skills enable you to convey complex scientific information clearly and concisely. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. About the Department The Semaglutide Diabetes team is an integral part of the GMA Diabetes VP area, located in Søborg, Copenhagen, Denmark. Our department is focused on building and executing medical strategies for oral semaglutide and once weekly semaglutide in type 2 diabetes (T2D).
