Are you passionate about clinical pharmacology and drug development? Are you ready to join a newly established clinical pharmacology team, drive clinical pharmacology activities with your scientific insights, patient focus and with strategic impact in the M&S area dedicated to support the combination therapy CagriSema for the treatment of Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes and additional emerging indications. Then, this is your moment as we are looking for a Clinical Pharmacology Scientific Manager, for Clinical Pharmacology CagriSema. Together, we can create life-changing innovations for patients. The position You will be responsible for the clinical pharmacology programmes and providing the clinical pharmacology strategy for development projects for CagriSema which spans across multiple cardiometabolic diseases at various stages of development from phase 1 to 3. Furthermore, you will be responsible for: Clinical pharmacology trial designs as well as interpretation and communication of trial results Driving and coordinating activities in the headquarter study groups and collaboration with our affiliates and external partners involved across the value chain Scientific communication and interactions with many internal and external global stakeholders and key opinion leaders Clinical pharmacology summaries of submission dossiers and interactions with Health Authorities to provide clinical pharmacology input to secure approvals of new drugs Represent Clinical Pharmacology in task force team s lead by project vice presidents to build the clinical development and regulatory strategy for CagriSema. Qualifications In addition, we will value the following qualifications: You have a M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences, complemented by a Ph.D. Extensive experience within clinical pharmacology in pharma or biotech industry. Strong scientific and strategic mindset with a good understanding of clinical dosing aspects including pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic relationships. Proven track record in designing and planning clinical trials and working in cross functional teams in a global and dynamic environment. Experience with health authority interactions. Proficiency in both written and spoken English. On a personal level, you are a dedicated team player who inspires trust and creativity in your team and among stakeholders. You focus on solutions, identifying criticality and enabling decisions. You communicate openly and effectively and encourage critical thinking, initiative, and innovation. About the department The Clinical Pharmacology department is responsible for development projects within CagriSema. We are a department of talented, dedicated and highly engaged colleagues working in a flexible, collaborative, and cross-functional setting. Clinical Pharmacology plays a key role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk. We work as an integrated part of development and research project teams, being responsible for the clinical pharmacology strategy and scientific input to clinical pharmacology trials. We provide clinical pharmacology expertise to all clinical development phases, Health Authority interactions and regulatory submissions worldwide.
