Do you want to ensure the foundation for our data strategy and ensure data availability in our Pilot factories, where the insulins and GLP-1’s of the future are being developed? If so, this is the position for you.
As our new IT System Administrator, you will take part in operating and maintaining our two Historian Data Platforms to support our data strategy in our CVP area . Our Historian Data Platforms plays a central role in making data available for reporting, batch release and Manufacturing Intelligence. Data from our production factories is essential to develop new product for our patients. The Position
You will, together with 3 colleagues, be responsible for the daily operations, compliance and maintenance of our two Historian Data Platforms, to ensure and strengthen our ability to use data for product release and Manufacturing Intelligence. You will be responsible for e nsuring uptime and efficiency of our data platforms by monitoring the state of data interfaces, data archives and system performance (CPU utilization, storage needs etc.), and handling of incidents on the system. The platform is based on the PI technology from OSIsoft.
Your responsibilities summed up: Performance Monitoring (e.g. storage, CPU, RAM, Interface status) Troubleshooting and 1. Level support on the system, incl. Incident Management IT Security management (e.g. update patches, anti-malware, SLUNK agents) Life Cycle Management (e.g. OS and application upgrades, data migrations) Drive initiatives to improve our operational setup - tools, processes, etc.
It is important that you have the courage to take on assignment that you don’t necessarily know the solution to. You will have support from you colleagues and this position offers a steep learning curve together with many exciting technical challenges. Knowledge and experience with OSIsoft PI system is not a prerequisite for this position, but it is an advantage.
Qualifications
You hold a higher education such as B.Sc. or M.Sc. within e.g., IT, Computer Science, alternatively you have acquired several years of relevant work experience. You have a great passion for working with system administration and technical problem-solving, as an ideal candidate you have: Knowledge and understanding of System Administration, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry Knowledge and understanding of Windows OS, Azure, Virtual Machines and networking A positive Can-Do attitude, together with an exceptional drive High spirits and the capability to spread enthusiasm and positive energy to the people around you. Great communication- and collaboration skills, which makes you a trusted and well-liked collaborator with our stakeholders
Our work is performed according to cGMP, hence it is expected that you possess a systematic approach to your tasks and that you a able to plan and finalise your tasks. Furthermore, we emphasised the importance of your capabilities to ensure and initiate tasks, also when they are not being handed to you. It is our expectation that you take responsibility for your own and the team’s goals.
The Team
In the IT & Automation team we work with ensuring stable and efficient operation of our IT & automation systems, keeping the systems in compliance, and implementing large- and small-scale IT & automation solutions together with ensuring data availability in our Pilot factories.
