In Novo Nordisk, we are investigating in state-of-the-art new API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) manufacturing facilities to support the company portfolio of future oral and injectable pharmaceuticals. The Position As Environmental Monitoring and Clean-room Engineer, you participate in project activities investigating design, constructability, schedule, and cost for a new facility. The key design principle will be to implement the best-in-class design standards from other facilities. Your responsibilities will be to:
  • Developing Clean-room designs enabling keeping specified hygiene standards successfully

  • Select suppliers and visit them

  • Perform construction controls

  • Develop the sampling system to prove specified standards are kept

  • Developing plans for room qualifications

    • Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • As a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in sciences, engineering or similar

  • Experience within microbiology, environmental monitoring, Clean-room design in manufacturing environments

  • Experience with relevant GMP regulations and ideally API manufacturing from either pharmaceutical, biotechnology or food industry

  • Experience with utility design, installation and qualification as well as working with high quality requirements and regulations

  • English proficiency both verbal and written
