The position
You will be responsible for driving the implementation of the Health and Safety (HS) Management system in DD&IT Product Supply with the purpose of being included in the ISO45001 certificate for the production in Novo Nordisk. You will be working with health and safety representatives and managers on the shop floor, while simultaneously act as a trusted partner for the management group in Digital, Data & IT in close collaboration with HR. Furthermore, you will have a dotted line to the EVP Health and Safety Partner for Product Supply to ensure alignment across all areas within the ISO45001 certification.
As our next Health and Safety Specialist, you will have to ensure our HS standard processes like audits, management review and incident reporting as well as risk and workplace assessment (including HS impact from digital and IT changes) are executed professionally.
You also act as specialist supporter within fields like ergonomics, indoor climate, fire safety, machine safety, well-being, or other subjects in collaboration with colleagues both within own organisation and with support from the NN Health and Safety unit. You will maintain and continuously improve the local Health & Safety management processes as well as plan, execute and report/ communicate on performance within the focus areas of our Health & Safety Strategy. Health & Safety considerations are an integrated part of our everyday work.
You will find yourself working in close collaboration with the HR Business Partners within DD&IT and will be an important part of the HS Process Group within the production in Novo Nordisk, where you share knowledge and collaborate in HS-related tasks together with the other SVP Health and Safety Partners.
Qualifications
As HS Partner, you have significant and broad knowledge within Health and Safety – ideally from a production or laboratory environment.To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
An academic background and 2+ years of relevant experience Knowledge about legislative requirements and the ISO 45001 standard A fundamental desire and passion to make a difference within health and safety Fluency in Danish and English are requirements.
The key to success is your ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, keep an overview of a variety of tasks, and ongoingly prioritise in an environment where you cannot necessarily predict what your day will look like. You have high personal drive, enabling you to pursue key focus areas and achieve results. As a person, you have a positive attitude, appreciate working independently and like to make an impact. You thrive with a mix of both strategic and hands-on tasks. You can negotiate the right HS solutions by balancing the HS response with other business needs.
Limited travelling is expected.

You will be a part of the DD&IT PS Business Support team which is a mixed of business controllers and administrative. At the same time, you will have the change to work closely with highly skilled colleagues across the organisation. The team is part of DD&IT PS with more than 900 employees globally.
