Then apply today as you might be ready to be our new Operational Excellence Director we are looking for to drive the strategy that will impact the 4000 employees within our organisation called Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability (CSDS). The position As Operational Excellence Director you will be heading up a team of approximately 8 partners within LEAN, Quality and compliance, Health and Safety and Environmental Sustainability. It is a newly established team with ambitious and highly skilled team members that are known for their ability to successfully drive the agenda within their respective areas of expertise. You will take on a key role and together with your team set the direction on how to develop CSDS within these functional areas. You will report to the Vice President of CSDS Business Support and be a part of a highly ambitious leadership team with a strong culture of respect and collaboration. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Motivating, leading, and setting direction for your team members as well as supporting and utilizing the synergies of the team.
  • Developing CSDS through LEAN, Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental agenda to reach strategic objectives and ensure compliance.
  • Applying a continuous improvement mindset to ensure that solutions and processes are optimised to meet business needs.
  • Supporting and assisting the partners in managing functional networks across the organisation.
    • Moreover, to truly drive the agenda across CSDS, you build network across the organisation at both strategic and operational level and ensure strong collaboration with your stakeholders. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A Master degree within Business Administration, Management, Engineering or other relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing site either directly in operation or a support function as well as 4 years of experience as people manager
  • A solid experience with organisational development as well as a strategic and holistic approach
  • Knowledge of LEAN principles, process improvement and quality
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

You thrive working autonomously whilst still in close collaboration with key stakeholders. In busy periods, you are able to keep the overview and set direction through aligned priorities. About the department CSDS Operational Excellence is anchored in CSDS Business Support in Bagsværd, which is a department with approximately 70 talented professionals spanning IT, digitalisation, Supply Chain, Strategy and Finance.
