Then we have the right position for you in our Biotech & Rare Disease API production in Gentofte, as part of our process support team, in an engaging and dynamic work environment. The position As operational professional, you will be part of a team of academics and technicians who support the daily production. The production process consists of chromatographic purification, column packing, freeze-drying, automated cleaning (CIP), and environmental monitoring among others. You will have a special focus on our automated cleaning processes (CIP) of the production equipment taking up approximately half of your working tasks. This includes, among others, verification/validation activities and support of the continuous cleaning monitoring activities. For this, you will also be part of our newly established cleaning group within the team. In general, you work closely with various professional groups in a fast-paced production environment to ensure quick and stable delivery of product to the next level in the value chain, while maintaining the high level of quality that characterizes Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will:
  • Handle and document errors and communicate knowledge and learnings to colleagues in the team as well as in production. When challenges arise in production, you have the overview, take the initiative, and involve your colleagues, so that the problems are solved quickly and efficiently.
  • Have an ongoing and engaged dialogue with your colleagues across production about how to ensure quality, improve our working methods, and avoid mistakes.
  • Have different working tasks ranging from dialogue with colleagues about how to best make things work in a practical context, assessment of data and documentation, systematic problem solving, and project work to drive optimizations and innovation.
  • Some days, quick actions are needed. Other days there will be room for dedication and exploration of new ideas. Together with the rest of the team, you will also be part of a 1st line rotation schedule that ensures easy access to support for production. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • An academic degree within natural science, engineering or similar
  • +3 years of experience with pharmaceutical production and automated cleaning activities (CIP) in a GMP-regulated environment for the senior position.
  • Excellent communication skills at different levels, and the capacity to work extremely well in collaboration with others across professional groups.
  • Full proficiency in oral and written English. At least an intermediate level in Danish is required.

About the Department API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Denmark is part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). At our sites in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg, we are more than 600 colleagues working together to manufacture the API used in life-saving medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases.
