The position As a Senior Project Manager in AP Expansions, Tech & Innovation, you will be anchored in the newly established Innovation department. You will play a key role in identifying, shaping, and leading the concept development projects needed to bridge the gap between our current state of aseptic production and our future ambitions. The scope of work ranges from early-stage exploration of new technologies to developing large scale full equipment concepts. Your primary areas of responsibility will include:
  • Define project scope and execution strategies based on both current state and our ambitions for the future.
  • Manage cross-functional concept development projects together with partners and suppliers.
  • Involvement of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Challenge technology and ambition level to meet the high aspirations for the future.
  • Take lead and make things happen!
    • By joining the innovation department, you will have the opportunity to help build a department, contribute to creating standards and be part of the journey of defining the future of aseptic production! Qualifications Your experiences include:
  • A Bachelors or Master’s degree within engineering or similar.
  • Established project management experience managing projects within a technical field. It is advantageous if this is from the pharmaceutical industry/aseptic production.
  • Experience with leading innovation and/or product/process development.
  • Good communication skills with experience interacting with multiple stakeholders cross functionally.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
    • As a person, you are comfortable with taking initiative, have strong personal drive and acts dynamically in a changing environment. You thrive on pushing technology boundaries, are not discouraged by uncertainty and can define your own path forward with the support of your colleagues. Furthermore, you have a structured problem-solving approach and an ability to communicate complex content in a simple way. About the department You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
