In the development of medical devices, we ensure that user insight and innovation go hand in hand with a strong quality mind-set. We are organised in a large device innovation area of experts, providing state-of-the-art knowledge across projects. Working as a Medical Device Labelling Developer Your primary tasks will be to develop Instructions for Use and Medical Device Labelling for our device development projects and to maintain labelling for already marketed products. In User communication we are responsible for developing and maintaining Instructions for Use and Medical Device Labelling for all Novo Nordisk Devices. We provide communication that supports an easy understanding and safe use of our devices. You will work closely together with colleagues from the Design & User Experience area, the DDS organisation, Regulatory, Clinical and Medical. You will ensure that input is gathered for development of the text that you will write, and coordinate the graphical development for IFUs in close collaboration with the Graphic Designers in our area. You will participate in device development projects and deliver timely, high-quality outputs. This entails that you will have close cooperation with the device development team and other stakeholders. In our department we work with a wide range of procedures and processes that we continuously aim to simplify and improve. It is important that we always strive to work smarter. Hence an eye for process improvements and challenge of status quo is highly appreciated. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about users and have a patient-centric mindset, while understanding the importance of regulations and requirements. You will both have hands-on tasks in developing the actual text for our instructions, but you will also engage in strategic decisions. Hence you will have to thrive being both into the details and have a high abstraction level when it is needed. It will be an advantage if you have experience working with the following standards and regulations: ISO 20417, ISO 15223, ISO 11608-1, ISO 11608-2, and the Medical Device Regulation. We expect that you have experience working with:
  • Labelling regulations for Medical Devices
  • Project work
  • Health Authority negotiation
  • Stakeholder management
  • Clinical Trials
  • Design Controls
  • You are a strong team player recognised for your interpersonal skills and your collaborative can-do attitude. You have a high personal drive and ask questions and challenge status quo when things do not add up. In addition to this you are flexible and used to working in a dynamic environment. You are structured, thorough, result oriented and able to document your work. Finally, we expect that you speak and write fluent English on a high level. About the department The User Communication team sits within the broader area of Design & User Experience, also consisting of: User Research & Insights, Design, and Prototype Development. We are a group of 12 highly dedicated and committed employees with a shared passion for creating patient-centric user communication.
