The job In IT & Automation, we are looking for Automation Specialists to drive our processes for Wash & Sterilization and Material Handling. You will be part of building our new global and digital AP Module and accelerating the implementation across global sites. Within the process groups, you will design automated equipment solutions to establish new and improved flows throughout our facilities using both innovative and existing technologies.
As part of the program, you will be working closely with the different key stakeholders both in Novo Nordisk and suppliers to evaluate and enable IT, automation and digital solutions and architecture drawing a good balance between speed, simplicity, and scalability. You will collaborate with process, engineering, and production responsible stakeholders to assess requirements and rightly influence the design. You will have an active and strong voice amongst a network of automation specialists and architects.
You will gain a broad network across stakeholders from Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT), PS sites, process and engineering responsible in addition to multiple suppliers involved.
Qualifications Master, bachelor, or technician degree within automation Strong technical and automation project experience in GMP environment from development, design (DQ) to execution (pre-testing, supplier document review, FAT, SAT, system verifications, etc. Experience in one or more of the following technologies: PAS-X, SCADA, IOT, Siemens PLC Project management skills is not a need but will be an advantage
You are passionate about working with automation equipment and design processes around it. You understand the integration of equipment design into existing and new systems. You have a solid understanding of automation architecture and IT solutions within an AP facility environment, preferably in W&S area.
As a person you work effectively with a natural respect based on your technical skills. Your structural approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while maintaining an eye for the details. You communicate effectively while also securing adherence to technical quality standards. You work independently, effectively while securing your tasks are completed and must be an excellent teammate and have strong abilities to participate in project teams. You thrive in an environment where new challenges and focus can change quickly, but always with the overall common goal in mind.
About the department With this role, we welcome you to Digital, Data & IT – Product Supply (DD&IT – PS), which is the IT partner for Product Supply in Novo Nordisk. We are counting 700 employees across 8 geographical locations. More specifically, you will be part of AP Expansions - IT & Automation, a new department working out of Gentofte while anchored in Bagsværd, Denmark.
About the program AP Expansions is one of the most strategically critical programs for Novo Nordisk with high attention. The program has an ambition to build multiple facilities across the world with standard, future proof, and scalable solutions. It’s a 12 billion investment program where we will be looking at new processes and new facilities, building on new ideas and an opportunity to be frontrunner in different solutions and technologies. We will be looking to improve and further automate and digitalise our production processes, raising the bar from what we can do today. The focus from our side is to bring our global production processes to the next digital level, by co-defining ambitious targets with our many internal and external teams, while also preparing for a fast-paced rollout in four different sites.
