The position As our new Project Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the governance structures around investment projects, as well as monitoring and controlling the approved project activities and spend. Your stakeholders will be from different functional areas and work at different organizational levels. Your tasks will include: Ensure strategic alignment with the CVP area project portfolio Drive local budget and project review processes Organize, lead and provide input to local steering group meetings Support the responsible Project Managers and Management team, e.g. by:
You will join a newly established team currently consisting of four highly dedicated and skilled Project Managers, and you will have the opportunity to be part of shaping this new organization.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you need to have: A relevant academic background in Life Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar +3 years of experience working with complex projects and an interest in project economics A strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data from many sources in a complex stakeholder landscape is required Experience with strategic collaboration with stakeholders at different organizational levels Full professional proficiency English is required, knowledge of Danish will be an advantage As a person, you need to work in a structured and proactive way and never compromise on quality. You must communicate in a clear and assertive manner and be able to convert complex information into easy-to-understand overviews for management.
About the department
Our team is part of the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Denmark Area that is located in Gentofte, Hilleroed and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by approximately 500 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities, while building and ramping up new state of the art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP). We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
