In the automation area of Robotics & Operational Technology our overall purpose is to design automation solutions and integrate new manufacturing technologies and innovative solutions at Novo Nordisk production sites across the world.
We are currently expanding our area and we are looking for a Tech Lead to join the team. In this role you will: Own the backlog of projects in the automation domain and together with management prioritize incoming requests and projects Have the overview and understanding of the portfolio of technologies we provide and be able to explain them and their benefits to production sites, suppliers and external stakeholders Seek inspiration internally and externally to find opportunities for the next projects and solutions to implement at Novo Nordisk production sites Work with standardization of processes in the automation team by facilitating standardization of documents, creating templates and standard presentations About the department Robotics & Operational Technology is a growing department, within Device Manufacturing Development, consisting of highly skilled people in the domain of robotics and automation. We are an innovative department who strive to meet complex needs in the Novo Nordisk production facilities. By utilizing the capabilities and skills in our department, we ensure that Novo Nordisk gain the benefits of modern technology and stay at the forefront of manufacturing technology.

We are looking for someone with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset as well as solid experience from the automation industry. As you will be working and collaborating with people from various departments in the organization, both local and international, you are preferably an outgoing person who is ready to take the lead on finding opportunities for implementation.
You have a broad knowledge within automation and IT/OT and can quickly grasp new technologies and concepts. You are not the expert, but you will know where to find the knowledge when needed.
We look forward to meeting candidates who ideally have: A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering (automation engineering, electrical engineering, autonomous systems, mechatronics or similar). A strong technical background, preferably within automation 4-6 years of work experience with some of it in a role as automation engineer, tech lead, product owner or similar Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, but not a prerequisite Fluent in English both oral and written Working at Novo Nordisk At Novo Nordisk, we don’t wait for change.
