The position
You will be working closely with the Chemists and Laboratory Technicians within the department where you will be technical responsible for chemical analysis of products. You will have the opportunity to drive improvement projects within the department, and furthermore, you can expect that you will be: Responsible for one or several analyses at a given point of time, assuring timely analysis-results to internal costumers. Responsible for analysis - and supporting equipment in the department. Performing various compliance tasks, updating instructions and providing support to laboratories. Participating in audits and inspections. Supporting the Laboratory Technicians in their daily operations to ensure analytical performance and equipment live up to the industry standard. You can look forward to an exciting and varied working day where you have influence on your workday and responsibility for ensuring the team reaches their targets. Qualifications
In order to qualify for the position, we imagine that: You hold a master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry or another relevant field within the Natural Sciences. You have knowledge of GMP, but it is not a prerequisite since we will teach you. If you have experience with maintaining and qualifying laboratory equipment as well as HPLC and LIMS, it is an advantage. Necessary training will be provided if this is not the case. You can communicate in Danish, both written and verbally, on a professional level. You have flair for IT.
On a personal level, we imagine that you have a quality mindset and are a team player possessing good communication and collaborative skills combined with a structured way of working and ability to work independently. Moreover, you have a high level of energy to drive yourself and your colleagues forward as well as being result oriented and take pride in timely delivery of your milestones. Biotech and Rare disease QC (BRD QC) in Kalundborg is a laboratory with high quality and LEAN standards. The department consists of 28 dedicated employees distributed in two teams. We perform a wide range of chemical and biological analyses on aseptically produced products and active pharmaceutical ingredients products.
