Join our Manufacturing Talent Programme Thinking of trying something different? Curious about pharmaceutical Manufacturing? Excited about change and new experiences? Then, Novo Nordisk Kalundborg is trying to combine and cover these in a Manufacturing Talent Programme. The Talent Programme aims to both develop you horizontally (broad) and vertically (in-depth) within pharmaceutical API manufacturing. We’re seeking a diverse background of applicants within Science, Engineering, Biotechnology and Chemistry. What can we offer you? By joining the programme, you will have a unique opportunity to develop a skillset that prepares you to work and thrive within advanced data analytics, and innovation for future pharmaceutical manufacturing. Plus, you will have the ability to create a network and build relationships. As a teaser our API Manufacturing Hubs in Biotech City Kalundborg and North Carolina, Clayton, are responsible for manufacturing all well-known insulin products from Novo Nordisk plus cutting-edge innovative GLP-1 products. Our API Manufacturing Hub is a dynamic facility, including several existing, ever-expanding facilities plus several new facilities of the Future, employing state-of-the-art technologies. Convince me, what is the Manufacturing Talent Programme about? In general, we seek to continuously improve our existing manufacturing facilities with optimizations related to process, modern technology, advanced data analytics or a combination of all. To achieve this now and in the future, we need team players like you who are energetic, motivated, and innovative! You will have the opportunity to rotate across our different manufacturing sites plus be exposed to specialised functions like how we develop our processes etc. The rotations will consist of 6-8 months for a total program length of 2 years. You are convincing me, what will I actually do? No rotation will be the same. The first rotation will consist of manufacturing process exposure. Key learnings: what is pharmaceutical manufacturing? How are unit-operations connected to drive value? What is the connection between industry 4.0 and pharmaceutical manufacturing? The second rotation will consist of data analytics exposure. Key learnings: what is industry 4.0 in the pharmaceutical industry? What tools are state-of-the-art for pharmaceutical manufacturing analytics? How to apply advance data analytics to drive value? The third rotation will be either within Manufacturing Development, or within construction of green field manufacturing facilities. One of your rotations could be at our API Manufacturing Hubs in North Carolina, Clayton. I’m convinced, what qualifications should I have?   • A recent Bachelor or Masters degree (from 2022 or 2023) within the following key educations: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry.
  • Above average academic achievements, please upload academic transcript
  • An appetite for tackling complex problems
  • A global outlook and be globally mobile
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

  • March 12th: Deadline for application
  • March 20th-27th: First interviews via Teams
  • March 29th: Selected candidates are invited for the Talent Camp in Denmark
  • April 26th-28th: Talent Camp
  • May 2nd-8th: Second interviews and test feedback via Teams
  • September 2023: 1st rotation starts
