As our new Global Senior Project Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for leading global strategic initiatives on behalf of Asset Management & Platform Performance (AMPP) unit and the Production Support Network, which consists of all Injectable Finished Products (IFP) Production Support Directors at seven production sites in US, France, Brazil, Denmark, and China.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: Project management of the strategic global improvement projects such as “Shutdown Excellence”, “Asset management” and other “Uptime” projects in partnership with various sites
Supporting senior management in developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives, ensuring effective management meetings, and participation in cross-organizational projects within the Production Support Network
Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
Coordinating and tracking actions and initiatives
Coordinating monthly meetings and two annual Face2Face sessions, providing assistance with governance and administrative tasks
Moreover, you will be working towards enhancing uptime and process capability in IFP, serving as a liaison between IFP AMPP and the Production Support Network.
In this role, significant amount of international travel may be anticipated. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: A MSc Degree in economics, business administration, engineering, science, medical fields or similar
At least 5 years of work experience with operational excellence, preferably in manufacturing, experience from a management consultancy or a pharmaceutical company is an advantage
Excellent analytical, quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills combined with track-record of driving strategic processes
Professional proficiency in English

The department is a newly established organizational unit called Asset Management & Platform Performance (AMPP). With almost 100 colleagues, we play a key role in accelerating a major transformation to improve performance across a global network of factories to meet the need of the increasing number of people living with diabetes and obesity. AMPP is an organizational unit in Injectable Finished Products (IFP), which is the largest production area in Novo Nordisk with more than 9,000 employees.
You will become part of a newly established team with the responsibility of driving complex improvements projects based on operational excellence principles across our aseptic production network worldwide. The team functions as an in-house consultancy and will drive a broad range of high-profile improvement projects across our strategic aseptic manufacturing sites. Within the unit there are people who work with digital and analytics initiatives which enables us to fuel our operational excellence projects with even more compute power as well as digital tools to drive the business forward.
