Do you want to develop advanced solutions improving intelligent decision-making in Novo Nordisk? If you are a Data Scientist with a broad set of skills, you might be just what we are looking for in Supply Chain Analytics. About the department
In the Supply Chain Data Intelligence department, you will be working in a team on the frontier of bringing analytics solutions to the production and supply chain areas. Using the growing data landscape within Novo Nordisk, we carry out complex analyses and build data-driven tools to deliver business insights and value to different departments within the organization. Our ambition is to use the latest computational tools and techniques to help create a future-ready and intelligent supply chain. You will join a diverse team consisting of colleagues from several different countries and will be supported by our Supply Chain Experts providing solid supply chain understanding, Data Engineers providing analytics-ready data as well as other Data Scientists. The position
You will support our vision within advanced analytics by applying your data analysis and -modelling skills as well as analytical mind to deliver impactful solutions. You will: • Transform, visualise, analyse and model data while continuously communicating insights, results and conclusions to colleagues in decision-making positions.
• Be involved in ideation, development and deployment of models across the global supply chain in an agile sprint way of working while also supporting on various ad-hoc data-related tasks. Qualifications
You have around 2-5 years of relevant working experience combined with a master’s degree in e.g. Economics, Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Science or similar with proven results and a natural flair for data and analytics. • A genuine passion for using data to generate insights and enable intelligent decision-making
• Experience in handling and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from various sources
• Experience in producing visualisations for analytical understanding and communication purposes
• Familiar with communicating advanced analysis and models to non-technical audiences in a concise and actionable manner
• Fluency within one programming language such as Python, C-family, R or Julia as well as proficiency within one or more other languages
• Knowledge to Simulation methods and understanding of statistical concepts
• Knowledge Git and understanding of using version control for collaborative coding
• Proficiency within Cloud technologies is a plus, but not required You are entrepreneurial by nature, and it comes naturally to you to experiment with new techniques, software and ways of working. We expect you to have confidence in your skills and an eye for details. You have a burning desire to learn new things and are curious about the processes and people you work with.
