We are looking for an ambitious candidate to take up the role as a Category Manager in Marketing and Meetings & Events in Corporate Procurement. The primary category responsible will be Advertising and Creative.
Other subcategories include Market Research, Digital and Patient Access. The positions
You will drive procurement excellence with our commercial organization. It is therefore a unique opportunity to join a global world-class procurement function and understand how marketing is performed in Novo Nordisk. The job entails that you:
• Manage your category by performing sourcing, negotiation, and contract management • Identify and drive large strategic projects to create value at scale • Assess opportunities in global categories, with focus on financial impact, digitalisation, and sustainability - with high capability of action and a mindset beyond traditional thinking • Interact with global senior stakeholders and senior leadership for international suppliers • Experience and interest in Sustainability and green procurement to ensure our suppliers are supporting our NN Circular4Zero Strategy
• Identify innovative opportunities, understand latest trends, and incorporate into best practices
You will join a team of 10 skillful and ambitious people who value a good atmosphere and collaboration. You will be empowered and supported with trust and feedback from your team and manager. This is a position, where you will get a lot of influence and responsibility. Qualifications
To be considered for these positions, we expect you have:
• A master's degree in economics, business administration, supply chain management or similar • 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably with Marketing spend • Experience from a large and international company • Experience with strategy and/or project management and exposure to senior stakeholders
• Have an international mindset, work analytically, and communicate clearly in English • Solid experience from creative agencies with focus on marketing will also be considered As a person, you are ambitious, want to develop, and are open to giving and receiving feedback. If you do not have experience working with marketing or even indirect spend, we expect you have a strong wish to learn what characterizes that spend. • Demonstrates Market and Industry Understanding. Utilizes Knowledge of suppliers relative to positioning and market trends to showcase strategic insight.

Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk. We consist of 120 employees based in Denmark, 140 employees in India, and globally 500 people work in procurement.
