Apply now!   The Position As Senior Manager in Alliance Management, you will have an important and very independent role in supporting the execution of Novo Nordisk’s external innovation strategy. Your responsibilities will involve:
  • Managing a portfolio of alliances by securing the execution of contractual obligations and mutual agenda, building, and maintaining an interactive relation with the external partners as well as the internal Novo Nordisk teams
  • Having a facilitating responsibility of securing value generation through our partnerships
  • You will help prepare strategic recommendations to senior management and be on top of risk mitigation plans
  • Be responsible for e.g., alliance kick-off meetings, facilitation of steering committees, support in alliance terminations, conflict resolutions, facilitate contract amendments and much more
  • Qualifications
  • You demonstrate knowledge of the pharma value chain and drug development processes.
  • You hold a MA/MSC degree with content focus on e.g., international business, stakeholder management, business communication, or natural sciences/clinical development
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia within e.g., global alliance management, project management, business development, licensing, Legal or within R&D
  • You can understand contracts and translate complex contract terms and conditions into simple outlines to support strategic and operational elements
  •   As a person you show strong interpersonal skills and can collaborate cross-functionally, across organizations and cultures. You enjoy taking the initiative and have a strong personal drive and dedication to your work and to people. You have a strong ability to manage and resolve issues and conflicts. You understand the value of structure and systematization. About the Department Alliance Management manages a complex portfolio of external alliances across the Development stages and across all therapeutic areas in Novo Nordisk. Responsibilities include leading the strategic discussions and decision-making processes to effectively lead external collaborations and partnerships. We are currently building a team from scratch, but we are anchored in a team called Development External Innovation based in Søborg, Denmark. We have key stakeholders globally across Novo Nordisk with internal working groups in e.g., R&D, Legal, Business Development, Project Management, and Finance.
