About the department Aseptic Production Manufacturing Intelligence (AP MI) is focused on developing, piloting and scaling digital and smart factory solutions for aseptic production and its support functions. We lead the way and set the standards for MI in aseptic production by applying some of the newest technologies available e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Maintenance and Digital Twin. Our team consists of MI project managers, data scientists & tech. engineers and students and is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.The area is growing fast, and your colleagues in AP MI are working hard to develop, implement and scale the best digital solutions to our production. The position In this position, you will be part of a project team that is responsible for developing and maintaining deep learning algorithms within the visual inspection, a process ensuring that products with significant defects will not be delivered to customers and facilitating correction and improvement of the manufacturing process.Your role will involve the maintenance and optimization of deep learning models in production. You will monitor and retrain these models to ensure that they consistently deliver exceptional performance. This also includes being responsible for maintaining and updating the data that is the foundation of the models. Further, you will be part of getting new models into operation as the deep learning models are scaled across our global production sites. Moreover, You will be working closely with other data scientists, domain experts, and students. Qualifications You have relevant education at a minimum master’s level (e.g. Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). Experience from relevant industries such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries is a plus.To excel in this position, you should possess the following:
  • Proven hands-on experience and extensive knowledge of image recognition using deep learning.
  • Have knowledge of traditional image analysis.
  • You are an experienced Python developer and are using Tensorflow or PyTorch
  • You have preferably been exposed to DevOps and Docker.
  • Ideally you possess knowledge of utilisation of Amazon Web Services, especially SageMaker and S3.
    • On the personal side, you have a strong drive and can work independently within your area of expertise. You can work in a team and communicate with highly specialised colleagues.
