As our new Wash & Sterilisation (W&S) Operational Responsible, in Aseptic Production (AP) Expansions, Tech & Innovation, you will be a key player in defining the future global standard for Autoclaves, Washers, and Clean in Process (CIP)/ Sterilisation in Place (SIP) units.
W&S Operational Responsible will have a focus on the processes for operations and procedures within W&S which will involves knowing and being hands on with overall processes, equipment processes and products. You will play an important role in ensuring that the W&S solution is state of the art when brought into production, compliant to regulatory requirements now and in the future as well one we can be proud of in 20 years! The key tasks will include: Setting the direction to ensure a risk-based approach to validation.
Development of future process flow with focus on designing flow and processes according to the industry standards and authority requirement.
Ensure technical/ process alignment together with our local sites end uses, central core team stakeholders and the suppliers.
Providing guidance in the creation and review of design documentation as well as design and definition of validation strategy.
Vendor oversight during the equipment design, build and test phases.
Design and implement training setup for operations with focus on a stable operation.
In this position, you will work in collaboration with a wide network of stakeholders on a local and global level! This will include the W&S Work Package Owner (WPO), W&S Specialists, IT/ Automation specialist, our Central Manufacturing Development team, and Subject Matter Experts (SME).
Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to travel to our global sites which includes sites based in France, US, and China. Up to 20% travel is expected for the position. Qualifications A degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar.
3+ years’ experience within with W&S equipment and/or processes. Your experience also includes validation/ qualification of equipment.
It is advantageous if you have AP, GMP experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or similar industry.
Knowledge/ an interest in exploring and driving new technologies or standards.
You are good at stakeholder management and working cross functionally and globally.
As a person, you have a focus on quality, have a problem-solving approach and the drive to create new solutions/ standards and challenge the status quo. With a visionary and innovative outlook, you can look to the future to help promote process optimisation and digitalisation alongside colleagues.
Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills to build relations cross functionally and globally. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English. As you will be working globally with different local sites, US, France and China, language skills within these areas would be a bonus! About the department
You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.
AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future.
