About the department
Oral Finished Products (OFP) MDEV (Manufacturing Development) Project Office consists of approx. 20 dedicated Project Managers as well as specialist supporting both Manufacturing Development and our productions sites in Maaloev Dk and Durham US. The two positions as Senior Managers in OFP MDEV Project office is an expansion since we are an area in growth.
Our department leads large strategic projects like implementing new oral products or optimizations of our oral products already on the market. At the same time, we are responsible for driving and implementing new major equipment and facilities as well as supporting the whole area with specialist support in regard to tablet production, cleaning and quality.
The position
As a Senior Manager you will have the daily responsibility for either a team of Product Portfolio Managers or team of Project Managers and Specialists leading the department with the director. Your primary focus is to maintain and secure overview of ongoing and coming project in our area and ensure right support in decisions and prioritization. You will have great impact on how the processes and projects will meet future demands and you will collaborate with colleagues from our CMC area, production sites, quality, regulatory affairs, supply chain, business support and other stakeholders.
Other responsibilities will be to:
• lead a team of approximately 10 highly skilled employees
• develop and drive project portfolio management
• ensure that the team perform at highest level by setting clear direction and goals
• build and maintain a high level of quality, using LEAN tools to ensure that we systematically solve our problems
You will act as role model and ensure energetic leadership to motivate the people around you to be the best they can be, because they feel safe, supported, and challenged by you on a daily basis. Since the oral pipeline is in growth and constant development, prioritisation, and willingness to adapt to changes and new priorities is key for the success.
You will have a versatile working day with different types of tasks, where there are both short and long deadlines.
Qualifications
We are looking for two positive, strategic and solution-oriented candidate who will set the direction for Manufacturing Development (MDev) Project Office with strategic and systemic leadership skills and an interest in project processes.
To succeed in this role, you:
• Have a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering or equivalent
• Have solid experience as a people leader
• Have knowledge of project processes and manufacturing development
• Have gained experience from the pharmaceutical industry or highly regulated areas
• Are fluent in English both written and spoken
On a personal level, you have a strategic mindset, can work independently to drive decisions and processes forward and thrive in a high-paced and dynamic workday, prioritising, and inspiring others. You have the ability for seeing the bigger picture and able to keep the eye on the ball in collaboration with stakeholders.
