You can help people with diabetes or other chronical diseases in a lot of ways. Working as QC chemist in our QC laboratory in Kalundborg is one of them. We are looking for two chemists for two different teams.

The position
You will work closely with the Chemists and Laboratory Technicians within the department and will be responsible for chemical analysis of products. Furthermore, you will: Be responsible for one or several analyses at a given point of time. Be required to drive minor improvement projects within the department. Perform various compliance tasks, updating instructions and providing support to laboratories on a daily basis. Support the Laboratory Technicians in their daily operations to ensure that the analytical performance and equipment live up to the industry standard. You can look forward to an exciting and varied working day where you have influence on your work and responsibility for ensuring that the team reach their targets. Qualifications Hold a bachelor or a master’s degree from natural sciences, engineering, pharmacology or similar. Preferable combined with knowledge of processing large amount of data, continuous improvement and experience working with chemical analysis from laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry or other GMP regulated environment. We do know that not all dreams come through, but we wish to see a well-educated candidate with a great sense of curiosity, humour and structure, an open and positive mind and ability to work independently as well as in a team. We develop best in a safe working environment, and we focus on well-being and a safe and fun workplace. Lastly, you must have good fluency in written and spoken Danish.
About the department
In Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), located in Kalundborg, we produce insulin and GLP-1 to help people living with chronical diseases like diabetes and obesity. We always have many exciting projects across Novo Nordisk - some require entirely new setups to utilise the opportunities in contemporary technology, while other are more focused on optimising existing setups. In Purification Plants (PP) in Kalundborg we produce the active ingredients which are in many of Novo Nordisk’s products.
