Corporate Procurement (CP) is searching for a new Vice President to initially help shape next level Indirect Procurement at and once in place take on leadership of one of our indirect category clusters. With a strong foundation in global category management, strategy development and execution, people leadership our new colleague will be a key player in our future strategy and value delivery journey. You will report to the Corporate Vice President of Corporate Procurement. The position is based in HQ in Denmark. What to expect Our new Vice President will join a procurement organization already enabled through state-of-the-art systems, strong S2P governance, pockets of advanced category management and strong CoEs all progressed by a diverse and ambitious talent pool. With this as a solid outset CP has recently initiated a strategy process focused on re-designing our global service delivery and operating models to optimally enable on its continued growth journey. As a first key task you will engage in the design and co-development of that best-fit future organization. Once in place the role expands into cluster leadership driving strategy execution from a category management perspective. In this role our VP secures access, mandate and strategic category impact through trust based senior business partnering, strong business acumen and ability to bridge this with cluster/category strategies and priorities. As leader of leaders of dedicated and talented specialists an ability to continuously motivate, develop and cross-activate individuals and teams is considered a key to success. As member of CP management, you will co-steer the execution and continued adaptation of our CP strategy securing long-term strategic value chain impact and efficiency. Your main responsibility includes: Functional leadership . Planning and execution of cluster and (indirectly) category strategies in line with business and CP priorities
People leadership . Foster cluster collaboration, operational efficiency, development and high motivation. Enable cluster leads to succeed through focused sparring, empowerment and individually adapted support
Strategic leadership . Contribute actively to the continued relevancy and strategic impact of CP strategy and operations by engaging actively through own, team and business derived insights in CP management decisions and overall direction setting Qualifications We are seeking a dynamic individual with a minimum of 8 years of strategic procurement/sourcing and category management experience. International experience in a global organization is preferred, with expertise in developing impactful procurement/sourcing strategies and negotiation. Throughout your career you have built strong leadership skills, and you are able to successfully coach and develop people to drive a high performing team. As leader of leaders the role requires extensive people management experience and a natural ability to generate results by enabling others to succeed.

- Senior stakeholder management focused on securing sustainable and high-impact value-add to the business from prioritized cluster activities. Business partner to key decision makers across cluster securing procurement involvement and impact on procurement relevant strategy
- Efficient execution of category core disciplines (planning, sourcing, contracting and SRM) across categories in scope
- Co-develop and secure utilization of CP process standards in planning and execution of category activities.
- Securing effective cross-functional collaboration across and beyond CP leveraging category, vendor, process and system opportunities from a global, regional and local perspective
- Developing and continuously motivating a diverse team of talents and key people to deliver tangible business value
- Secure the execution of CP and defined yearly wheel activities related to the people and organizational development
- Secure an optimal and proactive team structure consisting of the right skills and competencies in the right roles. Drive effective global utilization of resources continuously optimizing for cost and value optimization
