As the Director for the Regulatory, Quality & Clinical Reporting (RQ&C) Insights & Strategy team, you will play a critical role in partnering with leadership teams across Regulatory, Medical Writing, R&D Quality – called the Regulatory, Quality & Clinical Reporting (RQ&C) unit, anchored in the Development organisation of [xxxxx]. You will be supporting the existing ambition of the area to effectively drive strategic priorities across RQ&C. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Manage and develop the team of business partners, ensuring delivery, development, engagement and mental well-being
  • Identify and drive projects that tackle business challenges within and across RQ&C in close collaboration with leaders in RQ&C
  • Drive key strategic processes, such as the yearly goal setting and organisational development processes on behalf of RQ&C
  • Tailor data-based insights to provide prescriptive and actionable recommendations for resource allocation for RQ&C
  • Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, you will likely have:
  • A master’s degree in a related field (Life Science, Engineering, etc)
  • At least, 3 years of people development experience and a strong drive to further build and lead an ambitious team with diverse roles and broad international representation
  • R&D value chain understanding from the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid and extensive experience in project management, consultancy work or similar that have equipped you to working with a broad range of business challenges and initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work with senior stakeholders in elevating challenges, identifying solutions and partnering with the business to ensure implementation of solutions
  • Experience in setting clear direction for a team and projects and in prioritising tasks
  • For this role, you will actively engage a complex stakeholder landscape and bring a structured and solution-oriented mindset. You build trust and are confident working with stakeholders of all backgrounds and levels of seniority by demonstrating ownership of identified problems and take lead on implementation of solutions.
    About the department
    The Insights & Strategy team is anchored in the Executive Office within RQ&C. The team acts as trusted partners to the RQ&C Leadership Team through building analytical insights, driving strategic initiatives and projects that enable decision making and actionable recommendations. You will lead a high-performing team of 12 colleagues focused on driving and simplifying strategic business processes, strong stakeholder management and engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and personal development.
