The Digital Supply Chain Transformation and Strategy team is an international team consisting of ~10 employees with different backgrounds, collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues within and outside the Supply Chain domain.This is a brand-new team that has been established to support the overall growth and increasing complexity of our portfolio. In this department we are accountable for the success of the overall Digital Supply Chain project portfolio, by driving innovation and manage projects across Supply Chain. Our ambition is to ensure we always delivery value and can move the overall supply chain capability towards our future ambition.The Digital Supply Chain and Transformation and Strategy team is one of 7 teams in the Digital Supply Chain organization, anchored within Global Supply Chain in Novo Nordisk Product Supply Division. The position reports into the VP of Digital Supply Chain.The positionYou will lead the Transformation and Strategy team, and together with the team, support and drive the overall strategy and project portfolio for Digital Supply Chain. The portfolio consists of bigger programs such as implementation of ERP and planning systems, build out of Digital Twins and Control Towers.You will have to ensure the team engagement and commitment, as they proceed with developments on key strategic projects and initiatives. Your key contribution will be to engage in cross-functional stakeholder interaction at all levels, to ensure management support and focus – continuously striving for alignment with key stakeholders and knowledge sharing on progress, to ensure awareness and visibility of benefit realisation, and linkages to objectives and key results.In addition, you will:Deliver and manage individual initiatives across the Supply Chain Organization Develop, update and execute the Digital Supply Chain Strategy in alignment with business objectives Drive and support on change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of digital solutions and processes across the organization Identify and help mitigate risks associated with the implementation of new technologies and processes Be up to date of emerging trends and technologies in supply chain management and make recommendations for continuous improvement as well as expand our knowledge base across the organization Responsible for communication and awareness of Digital Supply Chain initiatives across the organization through different communication channels Develop and maintain project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools to manage supply chain projects across the organization Monitor and report on project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders Facilitate project governance meetings and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures Mentor and coach project managers to ensure adherence to best practices and project management methodologies Qualifications
We expect you to have an education within a relevant discipline e.g., engineering or business with +7 years of experience. To succeed in this position, it is of key importance to have strong stakeholder management experience along with relevant supply chain understanding.
Preferably, you have previous experience with people management and have a keen interest in developing an energetic team of talents with many newcomers to Novo Nordisk.We expect that you have:Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within a supply chain environment A strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive business decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and levels within the organization Experience in change management, project management, and risk management Knowledge of supply chain technologies, processes and systems and advanced analytics tools Previously established or worked in a highly efficient project organization. As a person you have a high level of energy, a positive mind-set and are open towards other people and new ideas. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment with numerous tasks and changing priorities, while staying focused on details and managing deadlines.
