The role and responsibilities
You will join our dynamic team of 12 professionals anchored in Bagsværd working with Portfolio Management, Architecture and UX across the Staffs area, where we currently have several IT initiatives in the pipeline just awaiting your arrival.
As our new Senior IT Project Manager, your main focus will of course be to drive and generate real value to the business, leading and managing cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of IT projects, from initiation to completion, within established timelines and budgets. Furthermore, your responsibilities could include, but not limited to:
Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource allocation. Manage and mitigate project risks, proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards, particularly within validated GxP IT systems. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations for improvement. Oversee the decommissioning of IT systems, ensuring proper documentation, data transfer, and adherence to applicable regulations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency and innovation in project management processes and methodologies.
What we’re looking for We imagine that you have an academic background within a relevant field such as IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration, and can see yourself in most of the below qualifications:
+5 years of relevant experience with IT project management and successfully delivering complex projects in large r organisations Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high quality. Experience and understanding of validated GxP IT systems and regulatory requirements Familiarity with IT system decommissioning processes and best practices are a huge plus. Experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing resources, and resolving conflicts. PMP, Prince2, or other relevant project management certifications and knowledge of agile methodologies, such as SAFe are desirable
As a person, we would like you to have excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to influence and negotiate effectively, as one of the main focus will be to establish close collaboration with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, gather project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
