We offer a challenging job that will provide you with an insight perspective of how Novo Nordisk works with sustainability and ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) processes and controls across the organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for: Leading audits and advisory engagements with a focus on providing assurance over ESG disclosure reports, assist the ESG materiality and risk assessment process and assess management systems, processes and internal controls over ESG. Continuously developing the internal audit agenda over ESG as this is a newer audit area in GIA. Supporting the development of digital and monitoring tools being used in internal ESG audits. Possibility to participate in financial and business ethics audits and investigations received via Novo Nordisk’s whistle-blower system which are anchored in Group Internal Audit.
Qualifications
You hold an Master’s degree or diploma in ESG, Finance, Auditing or similar. Furthermore, to be successful in this role, you will have: Three to five years of experience working with auditing and ESG. Strong level of independency and proactivity, comfortable in taking the lead on audit assignments. Excellent analytical skills combined with a pro-active mind-set. Good communication skills, and ability to interact professionally and confidently with stakeholders at all levels, with proficiency in both written and spoken English. Key personal qualifications include a high level of energy, good sense of humor and the ability to stay focused while working under pressure.
About the department
You will be part of Group Internal Audit (GIA), which is located at the Headquarter in Bagsværd outside Copenhagen, Denmark, and from here you will do ESG audits of both the Danish Headquarter functions as well as the global Novo Nordisk affiliates.
GIA consists of 33 dedicated colleagues representing 11 different nationalities and is responsible for providing assurance to Senior Management and the Audit Committee within business ethics, ESG, finance and IT. Our team consists of various backgrounds, working in a dynamic, ambitious, and informal environment. Working at Novo Nordisk
