The position
We offer a developing job that will provide you with an insight perspective of how Novo Nordisk works with whistle-blower cases in our Compliance Hotline. In this role, you will be responsible for: Performing and coordinating investigations incl. interview of subjects and witnesses of Compliance Hotline cases related to Business Ethics and Accounting Fraud across the entire Novo Nordisk Group. Assigning cases to our global Legal & Compliance network and supervise them in local investigations. Interaction with stakeholders at all levels and across all regions in Novo Nordisk, and the role may require occasional travel. Help maintaining the database of cases and Compliance Hotline reporting tool and support on the continuous improvement of internal investigation processes e.g. development of digital tools being used in our investigations. Conduct training activities for our global Legal & Compliance network as part of our Investigation Academy. Possibility to participate in finance, business ethics and IT audits. Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree or diploma in Finance, Business Law, Business Administration, Auditing or other relevant background related to investigations. Furthermore, to be successful in this role, you will have: 3-5 years of experience working as investigator and / or with healthcare compliance and / or with auditing. Strong communication skills, and ability to interact professionally and confidently with stakeholders at all levels, with proficiency in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of compliance risks in the pharma industry and a digital mindset will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of forensic tools e.g. NUIX or equivalent tools, as well as SAP will be considered an advantage. Appreciate an unpredictable workday and the ability to adapt and shift between assignment and investigation cases. On a personal level, we expect you to have high level of energy, team-player mentality, good sense of humour, cultural awareness and sensibility, integrity, and high sense of accountability and proactivity.
About the department
You will be part of Group Internal Audit (GIA), which is located at the Headquarter in Bagsværd outside Copenhagen, Denmark, and from here you will conduct investigations of both the Danish Headquarter functions as well as the global Novo Nordisk affiliates. GIA consists of 33 dedicated colleagues representing 11 different nationalities and is responsible for providing assurance to Senior Management and the Audit Committee within business ethics, ESG, finance and IT. Within GIA you will belong to the Assurance & Compliance Hotline team, in which you will have 3 colleagues working with investigations. Our team consists of various backgrounds, working in a dynamic, ambitious, and informal environment.
