You will be assigned to one or more projects as procurement manager. You will work closely with colleagues in the team and other stakeholders on multiple levels within and outside the company. You will be responsible for driving the tender process for the packages assigned to you and later, if agreed, conduct contract management from contract award to contract hand over. You will be part of a project team and at the same time be part of our team looking across all the investment projects across Novo Nordisk.Your primary responsibilities include:Lead tender process for procurement packages until contract award. You will be responsible for executing the tendering process, clarify and evaluate bids, prepare and negotiate terms and conditions and recommend and award suppliers Conduct contract management activities for critical procurement packages in collaboration with consultant partners and internal stakeholders Report status to project management and project sponsors. Align and collaborate across the project portfolio and with our category management team to ensure integration of overall supplier strategies. Another key area of responsibility is that you ensure and safeguard that all sourcing and supplier related activities are conducted in full compliance with our standards and regulations, balancing the business and project objectives regarding triple bottom line, risk assessment and deliveries in a complex setting.You will have a key role in ensuring alignment across a broad landscape of internal and external colleagues and stakeholders. It is therefore important that you can get people to collaborate without having the formal authority.Qualifications
You probably hold either a Bachelor or Master´s degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, Purchasing or similar. You have previous relevant experience, where you have acquired a broad set of skills and a vast knowledge from relevant roles. Most importantly, you understand the many aspects and dynamics that lie in the procurement area. A focus on continuous improvement of processes and systems is an inherent part of your working style Building and maintaining good working relationships is vital to this role, and the ideal candidate possesses excellent people skills as well as a profound understanding of quality, time, and stakeholder management. Working independently and in teams is a must. We are doing so by supporting our global investment projects in engineering and with procurement activities.
As a function we are in the sweet spot between our global supplier base and our colleagues in the investment projects who we consider our customers.An increased demand for our products has led to a significant increase in investment spend and related projects. This gives us a fantastic opportunity to strengthen the contributions we are delivering as well as driving change through the investment projects in line with the company aspirations.Today we are around 45 ambitious colleagues in IES with diverse backgrounds and an engaged people-focused culture.
