About the department Supply Demand Committee (SDComm) Secretariat directly reports to the Senior Vice President (SVP) in the SVP-area Supply Chain and Finance and plays a key role in driving a continuous process across the Novo Nordisk value chain where the strategic supply/demand challenges are being dealt with in close collaboration with Supply Chain Management. The SDComm Secretariat also assumes responsibility for the monthly reporting on supply/demand matters to Executive Management and the Board of Directors reporting. The position We are looking for a Senior Strategy Partner to act as a trusted partner to Executive Management, collaborate closely with business units across the entire Novo Nordisk value chain, including the supply chain organisation, production sites, Manufacturing & Development, and colleagues in the commercial organisation. You will analyse and prepare decision material for upper management on key supply/demand topics, ensuring that the most optimal plans and strategic decisions are taken. You will be responsible for: Being knowledgeable expert on long-term supply / demand plans Pro-actively engaging with key stakeholders to develop the strategic plans and decision material Driving strategic activities and projects across Product Supply and Novo Nordisk that support robust and commercially driven supply / demand plans – both in on short, medium and long-term horizon In addition to this, you will be involved in different strategic business case analyses – estimating the impact of different scenarios (e.g. how changes in our products and/or processes will impact Novo Nordisk). Finally, you will be engaged in delivering executive support to senior management of Product Supply and in the governance of key strategic fora, ensuring that business-critical topics are addressed proactively and supported by robust processes. As a Senior Strategy Partner you will take the lead on projects and support a variety of analysis supporting the strategic supply/demand challenges. This includes building the right analysis, involving the relevant stakeholders, and developing the material for decision making. You will drive and improve the processes and governance to support the supply/demand committee, ensuring that business-critical topics are addressed proactively and supported by robust processes. The job offers frequent senior management interaction and engagements across the organisation, allowing you to build a strong network while driving activities related to support supply/demand strategy and priorities. Being part of a small and agile team, we expect you to be a strong team player, who enjoys delivering on short deadlines as much as driving larger deliverables for senior management and other key stakeholders and fora – consistently of highest quality. You will report to the Vice President of Supply/Demand Committee Secretariat. The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with: A master’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field At least 5-8 years of experience within the field (preferred) or alternatively, experience within consultancy, from a commercial or R&D function and with an interest in deploying in the production context A strong analytical, data driven mindset and hands-on experience with an interest in production management and planning Solid business understanding and experience with connecting and deploying information in relevant contexts and business case analysis Excellent stakeholder management skills and can act as a strategic partner to senior management and drive own strategic activities Furthermore, you are expected to be fluent in written and spoken English. As a person, you are a fast learner and work proactively and independently. You thrive in multifaceted decision-making environments, and you can translate complex business information into clear management presentations.
