The Omics Technologies department is part of the Translational Research area within Global Translation, which is responsible for identifying clinically relevant biomarkers and generating high-quality biomarker data to guide decision-making in research and early development.
You will join a team of dedicated scientists and laboratory technicians who apply untargeted and targeted approaches to drive biomarker discovery, qualification, and quantification across all therapeutic areas within Novo Nordisk’s R&D value chain.

The position
Your primary tasks will consist of: Generating high-quality LC-MS proteomics data for biomarker discovery and quantification Conducting in-depth qualitative and quantitative proteomics analysis in in-vitro, in-vivo models, and human cohorts Performing instrument maintenance and troubleshooting as needed Assisting in developing new methods and setups for proteomics analysis Proactively identifying and resolving experimental issues, staying updated on novel technologies, and critically analysing and interpreting experimental data for clear reporting and presentations.
You will work closely together with other Laboratory Technicians and Scientists within the department on a day-to-day basis. Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we expect you to: Hold a Laboratory Technician degree, or the equivalent of it. Have a strong commitment to high quality sample analysis, data handling, documentation and reporting. Have experience with LC-MS and proteomics workflows including sample handling, protein extraction, and data processing. Preferably, you have hands-on experience working with Orbitrap mass spectrometer and nano-LC systems and are comfortable with handling large datasets. Be proficient in spoken and written English. As a person you: Are structured, curious, like to step out of your comfort zone and continuously challenge yourself. you have a can-do attitude and are a problem solver. Find it easy to build relationships between team members and gain recognition amongst stakeholders with your enthusiasm, proactiveness, integrity, and communication skills.
